The Good Fight: Link Trade Instructions


Notice: We are happy that you have decided to link to our site(s). We do, however, reserve the right to decline link trades that we deem offensive to our target audience. We're sure you understand. At this point, we are trading equal space on our site(s) for equal space on your site. If you want your photograph or graphic on our site, then we get one on your site.


  • YOU MUST READ THIS: In internet marketing it is critically important that the actual keywords that are important to you or me are in the link text of the links that we trade. This means that when you link to http://www.thegoodfight.tv the value of it has decreased because there are no keywords in the actual link text. The link required for a link trade would be Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament . But the link still points to http://www.thegoodfight.com The link text has keywords in it that are important to me.  You must link exactly as I tell you for us to have a deal.

You will want to think this through and decide what keywords you want in your link back from me so that your link is more valuable. 


It's a pretty much worthless endeavor nowadays if we don't do it this way.


  • Link to my site listed below and we will reciprocate giving you links to your site(s). This is more important than ever for search positioning because of "link popularity" -- how many links you have coming into your site from other sites THAT HAVE THE KEYWORDS YOU WANT TO EMPHASIZE. Decide if you want to have your picture or logo on my links page and pick from the three different types of link trades available (A, B, or C below).
  • Instruct the person maintaining your website (your webmaster) to create a link area for you on your website (skip this step if you already have a link area).
  • Email your webmaster the link to this page.
  • When our ad copy and link are active on your site(s)., either you or your webmaster send an email to jim@thegoodfight.tv with "Link is Up" in your subject line.

B) The Link Text you want us to put on our site along with the URL you want it to link to
 
C) A jpg photo of you or your logo sized and compressed properly (if you have chosen that option). We will have your link up on our links page within 7 days.
 
D) A recap of our sites that you linked to and where we can find the links on your site(s).
